PEN & INK DRAWINGS

My works are, in the main, large, and sculptural. I find that expansive big images can absorb
the viewer, perhaps share the experience of the theme being explored, despite their fine grain detail.

Drawing in pen and ink took over from oil painting by the time lock down was imposed. The
beauty of working in black and white allows me to focus on form, texture and contrast
without the distraction of colour.
